Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 4, 2026
Easehoms We runs the Easehoms website, mobile app, related features (together, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy describes the personal data we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have when you use the Services as a visitor, tenant, landlord, buyer, agent, host, or other user.
By using the Services, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the Services. This document is meant to explain our privacy practices in plain language and to reflect common marketplace expectations; it is not legal advice.
Who we are & scope
The entity responsible for handling personal data through the Services is the business operating Easehoms, referred to in this Policy as "Easehoms." You can contact us at easehoms@gmail.com.
This Policy covers your activity on our site and app, including browsing listings, creating and managing an account, posting or managing properties, sending messages, arranging inspections or visits, using payment or billing features, viewing media, contacting support, and any new feature we launch later.
Personal data we collect
What we collect depends on how you use Easehoms. We may collect profile details, contact details, account and sign-in information, property and listing content, transaction or billing records, communications, device and usage data, cookies or similar technologies, and data we receive from trusted partners such as verification, mapping, analytics, app store, or social sign-in providers.
Examples include your name, username, photo, bio, phone number, email address, listing photos and videos, property location, price, availability, payment references, IP address, device or app version, pages visited, clicks, referral links, crash logs, and device identifiers. Payment card details are normally processed by our payment partners and are not stored in full on our servers.
How we use personal data
We use personal data to run and improve the Services, create and manage accounts, confirm identity, prevent fraud and misuse, support searches and recommendations, enable enquiries and communication, process payments or payouts, handle disputes, meet legal obligations, enforce our rules, send service updates, and, where allowed, send marketing or product news.
Legal bases (where applicable)
If privacy law in your jurisdiction requires a legal basis, we may rely on your consent, our need to perform a contract with you, our legitimate interests, compliance with a legal obligation, or, in limited cases, protection of vital interests.
How we share personal data
We may share personal data with other users when that is necessary for the marketplace to work, including listing details, profile information, and message-related metadata. We also share data with service providers that help us host the platform, send emails or SMS messages, verify users, process payments, run analytics, support maps or video, and protect the Services.
We may also share information with professional advisers, companies involved in a business transfer, and public authorities when the law requires it or when we need to protect users, the Services, or our rights. We do not sell your personal data for money.
International transfers
Our systems and partners may process data in Ghana and other countries. When laws require safeguards for cross-border transfers, we use appropriate protections. By using the Services, you understand that your data may be processed outside your country.
Retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active, while it is needed to provide the Services, and for any period required by law or to resolve disputes. Some listing or transaction records may remain after account closure where that is needed for safety, recordkeeping, or legitimate business purposes. We may remove or anonymise data sooner when we no longer need it.
Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update, delete, restrict, or object to certain uses of your personal data, withdraw consent where we rely on consent, request a copy of your data, or complain to a regulator. To make a request, contact easehoms@gmail.com.
You can also manage cookies in your browser, opt out of some analytics tools where available, and change marketing preferences through email links or in-app settings when those features are available.
Children
The Services are not intended for children under 18 (or the age of majority where you live). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you think a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
Security
We use a mix of administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards to help protect personal data. No system is completely secure, so you should keep your password private, secure your device, and use caution when sharing information online.
Automated decision-making
We may use automated tools to rank listings, reduce fraud, moderate content, and improve recommendations. These tools are meant to support human review where needed and are not designed to make solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you without any review rights provided by law.
Changes to this Policy
We may revise this Policy occasionally to reflect changes in our Services or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date and may provide extra notice for significant changes by email, in-app notice, or another suitable method. If you continue using the Services after the effective date, that use will be treated as acceptance where the law allows.
